Does the M17x support linux well?
With the ATI RADEON™ 5870 card?

I've had good experience with NVIDIA cards, not sure whether ATI cards are well supported in Linux.

i had ubuntu dual booted on mine for awhile. it worked fine except the drivers for the wireless card didn't work. had to do the windows drivers into ubuntu patch. pretty sure you can use ny windows driver on ubuntu if you have the patch.
