    Logitech S220 2.1 speakers - which plugs to which ports on m17x???

    This is pretty straightforward i guess....feel a bit silly for posting it BUT....

    Got this little 2.1 speaker set (as above) and its got two jacks on it to be plugged into the laptop..

    Manual says green goes to speaker jack on pc and pink goes to MIC jack.

    Just looked at the manual for the M17 and obvious its got 5.1 outs....

    Obviously green is for speakers and pink is for the mini sub....but should i plug the pink into the mic or plug it into the dedicated sub jack on the laptop? - seems odd to plug the pink into the mic as it should be audio OUT for speakers and NOT audio IN??

    Green to port nearest me? and then either pink next to it (sub) or into the mic (furthest away)?

    Probably wont do any damage but wouldnt mind being sure....AW tech said to plug green in nearest me (front l/r) and pink into jack for rear l/r and not sub...
