Well as it says in the title I was wondering if it would be possible to flash my m17x R2 BIOS with the BIOS from a Dell Precision M6500 in order to have support for Quadro cards. All the internals see to be nearly the smae besides the GPU's and it even has the same charger. I kno its probably a long shot but just woondering if it would be possible.

Sounds risky Timbo; maybe not all that worth a shot. You do realize how serious a gamble it is, right? If it doesn't go (I don't really know whether it will or not), you then need not another flash, but a new BIOS chip, i.e., motherboard. I don't think these later BIOS versions can be recovered using a USB drive.

I think you should it for one reason, and one reason alone:
So I can benefit from the unlikely event that it succeeds!
