Guys i may need some help/advice here.

I'm looking to purchase a 680m 2Gb to perform an upgrade for my R2.

Honestly i don't know from where to start looking for it :p

I've found something on ebay, price is not an issue, i would like only to be sure to purchase the correct one. Can somebody point me to the right place to buy it?

    thanks all in advance

You can try the same thing I am: I'm gonna buy one straight from Dell. I know the price mark-up will be astronomical, but at least I know it will work perfectly (or near perfect) with my R2. I am just waiting to hear back from the Alienware reps here in the forum.

I have seen a few Dell 680m's floating around the NBR marketplace. You look there and see what you can find. :)

Yeah. Another way is to wait for some people taking apart their 680M and buy it. It probably won't have warranty though.

Thanks for the good advice to everybody,

I'm looking at upgradeyourlaptop through ebay for the upgrade. It will cost me almost the same price i've paid for the 2 6970's, but looks like it is a complete kit and i hope the upgrade will be painless.

I'll let you know if i finalize it ;)

    EDIT:

Oops, i did it again :p

just sent the link to my wife, she will take care of the purchase, at the moment i'm on the sahara for work, will be back at home middle of january, and the card should be there waiting for me ;)

Make sure you leave some time for return, just in case. PayPal's return policy is 45 days I believe.
