I am really confused. I just purchased a Brand New 17 R3. It loaded up with the image I posted to the wallpaper. After doing a system recovery the image was lost from the machine. I called alienware and they told me the laptop was previously owned and I needed to do a change of ownership. The machine came in a brown box which looked factory sealed and it also has a one year pro support. Few questions please.
1. I really like the image. Is there any way to get it back, can not find it on the net.
2. Was there any more images or software which I lost by doing a system recovery? If so can someone help me find the lost data?
3. Did I get a refurbished machine with some extra tweaks done to it?
Thank you for all the help.

2. Everything should be on Dell Support site (drivers and AW software): http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/
3. AW box should look this:
Most of the time will have thin cardboard sleve with logo:

That is exactly how it was packed. Why did the Alienware rep tell me it was previously owned by a business and I needed to do a change of ownership. I will look at those links. Thank you.

Where did you buy from? Dell will pack it just like this even if refurbished BUT they are required by law to sell as refurbished (usually from Dell outlet). Even if refurbished by Dell, they should remove owner registration though.
There is a chance if bought from 3rd party they kept the sleeve intact, I still have mine. Then lied about it being new -
I just found out some information. Since I purchased it from a retailer not Dell directly. The retailer is the first owner and registered to them. It is brand new.

If you reset windows 10 a certain way, you lose some of the original content that came on the laptop such as that wallpaper or the Alienware loading symbol.
This happened to me on my 13 R2.
