Hi guys got my replacement R3 yesterday and installed my ssd
got balck ops on it today and WOW amazing so much better than my precious R3 with 6870 , i was worth fighting the tech for this upgrade lolol
fingers crossed i wont have any problems with this R3 , so far all the hardware and chassis looks fine , no defects at all
the only thing is i had to call aw yesterday cause my service tag is not working on the dell site
does anyone know anything about this or as this ever happened bf4??

also anyone can tell me a game to test my 6990 to the limits so i will be even more amazaed with this machine :)

thinking of upgrading memory ram to 16gb what do you guys think about that?

My service tag also not working after the previous owner transferred to me. I called dell and they told me don't worry they can see in the system there is a warranty for my system.

It is normal for new replacement system to not register the warranty, because the warranty is connected to the old service tag. HOWEVER I would absolutely NOT let it stay that way. Call Dell, and they can transfer the warranty to the new service tag, it may take awhile and a few call trasfers, but they can and should do it.

The last thing you want is to need your warranty, and find out they cannot find it. It is best to get it fixed now, when you don't need it, rather than later when you might need it. Plus getting it transfered when you don't need it hardly looks suspicious, but getting it transfered when you need warranty service will raise red flags on their end. Keep pushing for it until you can go to the Dell website and see your warranty when you type in the service tag. I once ordered two new M17xR3s, both with 4 year complete care, one showed a warranty and the other did not. It took them all of 5 minutes to input the correct warranty into their database.

Try Crysis 2...but download the latest patch...then download and install the recently released DX 11 Ultra pack and the High Resolution Texture pack. Run in the game in Ultra mode and motion blur high

If you already have 8gigs of ram...another 8 gigs won't make your system any faster. Just be aware that accessing ram slots 3 and 4 takes a bit of work as you have to take a few things apart, like the keyboard
