    Hi,
Just got my R3 yesterday. Love the laptop, blah blah blah, but there's a minor issue.

    Core i7 2630qm
    6970m
    OCZ Vertex 2
    etc

Anyways, overclocked the gpu to 820/1150, played Witcher 2 and the performance is great

When it came to stress test the O/C, here's what i got for 3dmark vantage and 06.

    vantage: 14100
    3dmark06: 17600

Seems low, lower than stock even. I'm using Throttlestop for the CPU, 11.5b rc5 drivers for the GPU. Lowering the RAM overclock keeps the scores the same.

    Any ideas?

I get around 12200 vantage on my rig. Is that considered normal?

Scores look fine to me as well, based on the numbers I get when pushing my system pretty hard.

What are your settings for The Witcher 2?

Mine are 900p, Ultra everything except shadpw detail is on High and SSAO and UberSampling is disabled and getting 50-60FPS with 6970 OCed 825/1000.

I'm using my Ultra+ config from my NeoGAF tweak guide: www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=28106991&postcount=2825

I have SSAO, AA and motion blur turned off since they're FPS hogs. Average FPS varies from 55-75 fps outside at 1080p with everything beyond max.

I couldnt turn AA off. I could tell a big difference with it on. I actually found that it looked better with the settings at 900p and AA on, motion blur on, SSAO off, rather than 1080p AA off, Motion blur on, SSAO off.

Personal preference though. Everyones different. btw...I get 45-60fps...i have vsync enabled. 825/1015 overclocked
