My R3 uses Raid 0 including two 500GB hybrid 7200rpm hard drives. The problem is by using the Win7 system rating to check performance of my laptop, I found all the scores are above 7.5 except the disk data transfer rating which hits pretty low only at 5.9. Is there any issue with Win7 system rating when it applies to laptop system or is the speed of my hard drive just as crappy as the rating tells me? I am a little confused since I thought the Raid 0 system should not be as slow as this?

BTW: I got pretty similar rating for disk data transfer rate on my another laptop which only uses a 5400rpm hard drive. (Lenovo Y560).
Something to put in addition: So the both laptops get very similar rating in DDTR, but the actually usage in any game or software is way different from the two laptops. The feeling is just too obvious to get ignored that the hard drive on my R3 is much faster than it on Y560. Any thoughts?

That is normal RAID or no RAID if you don't have a SSD, it will always score it a 5.9.

If you wanna do a comparison download

    Crystal Disk Mark

    or HDTUNE.
