Hello, after reinstalling windows 7 ultimate x64 i have few problems. In CCC center it says that crossfire enabled, but in GPU-Z it says crossfire disabled but available. So i think that crossfire not working, because only one fan getting hotter while palying games. My laptop has dual 5870 video cards. I googled this problem for about 8hrs and i tried everything that looks like its gona work but still i have same problem. I forgot so say that my laptop dont have battery maybe this is the problem?? My friend suggested to me delete all video card drivers and do fresh install, so i downloaded driver sweeper and unintalled all video card drivers. After i installed CCC crossfire started working and in GPU-Z it says that 2GPUS ar working together, but after i came back from work and try play some games i realized that crossfire is not working again. Next time this trick didnt worked, i mean reinstalling video card drivers. Any ideas because i cant think of anything that can slove this problem. Adding few print screens.

I think its driver related.
The crossfire 5870 platform should work unless a card is playing up. Have you tried perhaps older drivers from the past that worked?
The gurus here will answer this question very shortly with more detail.

Disable ULPS. See my signature for the 7970m guide, look up how to disable ULPS, do it and restart the machine and see how it performs.
I would recommend installing the catalyst 13.11 beta 9.5 drivers (make sure to use the Express Uninstall ALL AMD software in control panel beforehand).
Then restart machine, disable ulps, restart machine, check for results.tron2^ and Alienware-Natalia_J like this. -

Yeah its working 100% i eanbled crossfire icon on gaming, and tested on GRID. Maxed out works without lag. Hmm another question i tried testing crossfire on FURMARK, after i started testing i realised that only one video card is maxed on 99%load while other is to 4% how i should understand that?

Well, it's not that severe, but yea, furmark is not the greatest idea to use. That being said, if I remember correctly, in order to test both cards in furmark, you have to actually DISABLE crossfire ... it will then let you select which card to run on. I'm glad it worked for you friend
