Hey guys.
Apologies if this has been covered. But I can't find exactly the same problem.
Basically foer the past 6 months or so (I have been away) my games have virtually been unplayable. The game's seem to run picture perfect on even ultra graphics, but say every 5 seconds or so, it will have a quick freeze. Let's say for example if you're familiar with Ghost Recon, third person, when I move the camera around my character to get a view of certain angles tactically, the camera will either freeze albeit for a half second, or do a series of split second freezes one after the other for a second or two. As I say, game runs fine apart from this. It makes it unplayable as it is so frustrating. Now this happens with games like COD, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider etc. Civilization jumps in the same manor as I move across the map however it is somewhat more manageable as it doesnt affect my gameplay as such (i.e. I don't get shot!). HOWEVER FIFA runs perfectly....I do not understand that.
Over the last 6 months I have noticed my fans seem to be blowing out ridiculously. Right more than left. I have to keep turning off the laptop after say 5 hours and wait for it to cool down completely at risk of burning it out, and I MUST keep it completely elevated at all times to avoid overheating even while just browsing the net, it still seems to be over working.
I have ran Alien Autopsy and Memory Diagnostics, and searched for Trojans etc and there is nothing, everything passes.
Any takers on this one?

You monitored your temps before? MSI afterburner will, sounds like the card is throttling which bad as it seems is a good thing, stops it from overheating and doing damage. Check your temperatures? I guess yours are hitting around 80 degrees c probably. Maybe its time to clean your cents maybe?
Otherwise try the latest drivers as well. -
How comfortable are you with reinstalling a clean Windows?
For me in the past, this kind of problems resulted in days of searching/looking/troubleshooting/trying, and never really finding anything and getting really fed up.
And then in the end, reinstalling Windows mostly solved everything.
This kind of stuff is generally hard to find after you tried the obvious things... -
