    M17 r2 graphic help... Please.

    I bought this system new back in 2010, all was running great until I installed SETI screen saver...

    Screen started showing random checkering, flickering, blanked out boxes.

    Since then, I restored my system to factory. I also have the newest driver installed... BUT.. Even with a clean factory install, it's still doing the same thing.

    I have read about Vbios upgrade, but none of the information matches my card..

    ATI 5800 mobile.

    Please help and point me in the right direction. Thank you.

    Have you tried updating your vBIOS? M17x R2 - 5870m vBIOS

    You need to have the Dell driver installed before flashing the vBIOS, if you're running another version make sure you completely remove it first. M17x R2 - 5870m driver
