Hey, first off I want to apologize if this is the wrong forum for posting this.

I'm curious to see if anyone has a spare m17xR1 caddy that they're willing to part with for less than the ridiculous amount Dell wants me to order one for.

If you do, I would greatly appreciate it and would pay for shipping. :)

    Thanks.

PM me with your offer, I'm in France so it'll ship from here if we agree on something.

Yeah, Dell only charges $7 for R3 brackets w/interposer with $6-$7 shipping. Not too bad considering ASUS charges $20+ shipping.

    Cheers,

I always thought the R3 came with the extra caddy and interposer by default, and it was only the early R1's that didn't. Dell usually sent the R1 owners the caddy etc for free if they were ring up.

One other thing, I hope they send 4 screws with it also, as Dell were notorius for sending any number of screws bar 4.

    Refurbs sometimes do not.

Hi guys, for an m17xR1 caddy they're looking for ~$76 which is freakin' ridiculous in my books.

To the user above that is from France, I'd probably die from the shipping costs alone, Canada is terrible for international shipping. But thanks for the offer.

EDIT: And sadly, I'm out of warrantee so even though that second caddy would have been free, to them I'm not worth sending it anymore XD
