So I spilled a small amount of coffee on the right side of my keyboard on my M17X. Only the left most keys are sticky. ESC down to CTRL. I saw that there was a guide to taking out the M17 keyboard and replacing it, but it looks a little different than the M17X so I wanted to know if there was a guide to replacing the keyboard for that. The keys themselves don't seem to just pop off so I can't just clean it out underneath them. :p

Also, the fan located below the ESC key on the bottom of the laptop has been making noise and it is making me think that perhaps some of the coffee got down there and is sticking to the fan. I am not 100% sure what it is that is located under there since I didn't want to just go taking it all apart without some sort of guide.

Anyone have a suggestion on how I should go about this? Or a guide to taking it apart so that I can at least look inside myself.

    Thanks!

hey, this is the service manual for M17x-R2, but i am quite sure you can use it to safely replace your keyboard.
Also, i am quite sure the CPU fan is under the ESC key so you might need to replace it too. You can use ebay to buy the parts you need.
    Good luck!
