    Greetings fellow R1 users,
I have been contemplating upgrading my R1 with a set of 4870s to get a little more life out of it (and possible help it be more current). Being that I have had little experience with the ATI cards, and this particular configuration was very limited, I have some questions:

    1. How well do they perform for the people that have them?
    2. How stable is the integrated card switching (being that it's nvidia + ati)?
    3. Is the OEM driver sufficient, or do you find yourself downloading from AMD?
    4. Is the crossfire stable?
    5. Am I asking for problems with this configuration?

It has always been my personal experience that you never want to mix nvidia and ati components, but the configuration works for many users.

    Thanks for all feedback,
    Gabe
