    M17X R2 - HDD Controller

    Hello everyone, i just got my first Alienware m17x R2 from someone and there's something odd happening with the hard drive. As you can see in the attachments i got very big differences in hdd performance and no reason ...the access time scares me the most. Sometimes the laptop seems sluggish and is accessing the harddrive all the time then after a restart it becames snappy again. I know it's not the harddrive fault because i got 2 of them and they both act the same. I'll post some HD Tune results and asking for some advice ? Is it possible i got some mainboard problems regarding SATA ... i got no warranty so that would be a disaster for me.

    I use Alienware Windows 7 64 Home Premium and all the new drivers from the dell website. Also, the bios is up to date A10.
