    Hi peeps,

I got a spare M17X charger which I used on my M17X R2 (920XM 5870 X-fire) and I got a friend living on the oppsite side of the global who is using R3 or R4 (not certain at this time) who might need a spare charger .

Before I post it over, could I ask if the charger is compatible? Below is the image of my current charger.

Thanks for your time and I await your response on this matter. =)

I believe so but you can swap any adapter so long as:

    A) Voltage is the same.
    B) Current is the same or higher
    C) The connector is the same.

Thanks for the reply, but just on a safe side would like to check with any one here, who might have both systems before I send the AC adaptor to the postal office. =)

I have that same adapter with my R4. Model J938H is connected to my laptop at the minute and its fine, no errors.

Mines rev. 02 though. Doubt it would make any difference.

Flextronics/Delta 240W should work with almost all new Alienware laptops, as long as it's over and not under (under powering a machine, your AC adapter can explode).
