Hello folks , today I tried updating my bios to latest but it stopped in the half way so this is what it does when I power up:
Key board and all other led's light up except the alien head (power button)
Fans spin for a few seconds and turns off itself.
    No num/caps/scroll lock light .
Even if I toggle caps it won't light up.
    Ctrl+alt+del = nothing .

I drain mobo by removing the CMOS battery and laptop battery several times but still same also I did the crisis recovery , what happens is: led on my flash drive lights up but does blink ( which means it is not accessed ).

So my only choice is to reprogram the bios chip.
I removed the motherboard , but unsure of what is the bios chip:
These are the chips I'm guessing :
    SST25VF040B
    SST25VF032B

I'm not sure which one has the bios .
Also I have a seen a person (userid) : imsolidstate , he has full backup's of each chips that I have mentioned above , I have no way contacting him.

So I know someone else would help me . Some bios guru or an notebook enthusiastic .

    Thanks for any input.

You can order a new bioschip on ebay, maybe contact the seller they might send you the full dump.

    Hey toto!
I got it fixed , I got the bios dump from a ebay seller , then flashed it to my bios chip and voila it's working now.

Only thing is my screen has a blue bright tint .
Name of the bios chip : SST25VF032B.
    Location: between CPU AND CHIPSET.
    Thanks mate
