    Thanks for the reply Raidriar, but i was coming from a compatibility point of view.

    I really need to know if that particular card will be compatible with the M17X R2.

    Hi Danishblunt.

    He has a Clevo 4Gb card. I need to know if the one i want to buy will also work. Its a MSI branded card with 2Gb of Vram.

    As i understand it there are issues with certain makes and models of this card, but can't get a definitive answer.

    Should work as long as it doesn't have enduro bios flashed to it, which is impossible to tell.

    I see.... thanks for the heads up.

    What are the chances it has enduro bios ( is it common ) ? Can it be reflashed to a compatible bios ?

    Actually MSI cards are known for their incompatibility with Alienware, i'd try to source a CLEVO or Dell card if i were you....
