this drive is for storage only. it is a WD studio 2 raid 0 drive. the computer hangs during post and i am not able to get into bios or boot order to check it. is this a limitation on the bios? it will boot fine if i use the usb cable. tried 2 different sata cables. it also will boot sata with a 1tb iomega drive with np. the aw is running raid 0 with 2 500 gigs

    any ideas of a solution?

    thanks

Are you talking about eSATA? My Alienware boots fine with my Thermaltake dual eSATA dock plugged in.

My R3 won't boot if I have any device plugged into the eSATA port.
