Hi Tech friends, i have an m17x r4 with GTX780M GPU and the custom VBIOS from Techinferno, im experiencing high temps suddenly, and i just realized it started after i installed WIN10 in UEFI mode, i think i have read it has to run in legacy mode is that correct? Or should i just repaste or buy a better heatsink.....im using the 100watt gtx560m heatsink and Fujipoly Extreme 1mm pads and IC DIAMOND 7 paste

Your temps were fine before? It is possible the paste is no longer functioning as it should be.

I can't remember what heatsink came with the R4 but I am assuming the 560m was probably a two pipe heatsink? Most people strongly recommend the three pipe heatsink for the 780m.

Its hard to say if its just because Overwatch makes my GPU run hotter than the games i played before i made the motherboard change and installed Win10 in UEFI, but i have ordered the GTX680M Heatsink, and i will see if it helps control the temps. :)

OK, now i really need some advice......like i said i ordered the GTX 680M heatsink and have tried to install it.....but its like the copper part that touches the GPU core sticks out further than with the GTX 560 M heatsink and with the GTX 680 M heatsink it doesnt feel like there is any contact to the 0,5mm cooling pads at all.
