    I think that score is about right for 980m with no overclock and stock vbios.

    Happens in Windows 10 Creators Update when the screen is turned off and back on, I believe it is either windows bug or Nvidia driver bug.

    You could try a different driver:
    381.65
    It added Windows 10 Creators Update support.

    You could try the latest drivers from here:

    I never used them myself though. Alternatively if you make 5 quality posts in Techinferno forums, downloads would unlock.

    3d will not work with 980m, only 120Hz will work due to the licensing. There is no way around it I am afraid.

    I did manage to get it to work on my R4 (while playing with different GPU's) using my TV set to 720p @ 60hz over HDMI. The wizard started so I went through it and it worked. Not very good, and if you up the res you're using 24hz :eek:. Unplayable lag :(.
    There was also the problem of keeping the glasses connected unless you place the laptop in your line-of-sight.

    I kept the 680m simply for 3D games, it still performs admirably :).

    Totally impossible on the X8/120hz, even if you buy the 3D kit for it from NV. They only license laptops for OEM's that pay for their displays and GPU's combo to be recognized (as said by @mariussx above).
