    Hi guys, got a r4 with a bunch of wear on the touch pad and want to replace it.. now there's multiple r3 palmrests on ebay, and i am wondering if they are direct compatible, seems like there is no info on this subject and Alienware tech support doesn't seem to want to respond to question or inquiries about just purchasing a r4 one.. :confused:

    They should be compatible. They didn't change the design when releasing R4
