Hi I did a clean install of windows 7 and installed all the drivers according to the guides. When i go to transfer information from USB 3.0 to USB 3.0, I constantly get errors were it says the following:

The destination you have specified does not exist. It might be an offline network location or an empty CD or DVD drive. Check the location and try again.

I have reinstalled the USB 3.0 drivers and the chipset drivers from the CD. I checked Dell's website to see if there are news. I have tried multiple hard drives and I still have the problems. Any help here would be appreciated. Specs are in the Signature.

anyone? I reinstalled windows again to see if it would get rid of the problem. No luck so far.

Not having that issue but I am having issues with my USB 3.0 ports and my WD external Passport drive. The system didn't come with USB 3.0 drivers and my USB 3.0 external is running at 2.0 speeds...I don't yet know if it is a problem with the ports or the drive....let me know if you make any headway.

im using a Seagate go flex 1.5tb. The drivers for the ports are on the resource DVD. I thinking its a driver issue. I tried the fix with pulling the CMOS battery out and I have had it do it one time so far. Hopefully that was just it spinning up.

Check C:\ to make sure you don't have a windows.old folder, this may happen if you forget to delete an old partition when re installing windows. Have you tried the same external hdd on another computer? does it work correctly? Also, were these the drivers you used? USB 3.0 Chipset

I installed it on a clean hard drive, the external hard drive works perfect, I have no problems with it plugged into the M14x 3.0 ports. I don't think i used those drivers, I used the ones off the resource disc that came with the computer.
