    Hello to everyone!
I recently bought an alienware m17x from Dell's website, it arrived just last Thursday.
I write because I have little "big" problem with the wireless connection... Basically, my PC is connected to my router with no problems except that sometimes, in a totally random way, it disconnects and here two cases occur:
    1) It automatically reconnects after a few seconds
    2) It says limited or no connectivity (both on wifi eth) and then I have to disconnect the wifi and hand ricolegarlo manually, sometimes even entering the password for the connection.

    Info:

    -My card is a Broadcom a / c
    -My router is a very old Sitecom WL-322 b / g / n
    -Windows 8.1

    What i've already done:
-Turned off the energy savings and the ability of the PC to suspend the device if necessary
-Turned off WMM (I read that on the router which is not active it can cause problems like mine)
    -updated drivers

    Tips?
I' ve also read the post http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...-solve-wireless-connection-problems-m17x.html
But i don't have a nVidia wireless card...

    thank to everyone!

Did you try a clean install of the drivers from the manufacturer´s website?

I had the same issue with my m17x R2... until I swapped out my 10 year old Lynksis router for a new one... now, no more issues.

Just grab one from Best Buy, try it out, and if the issue persists, just return it.
