    Hello all,

I've searched through the other posts here and they don't seem to fit to my problem.

I recently bought two 4gb PC3-12800 RAM sticks from Crucial to replace my two 2gb PC3-8500 stock memory.

Problem: Installed both sticks of ram, when reboot, CAPS lock flashes, NUM and SCROLL stays on steady. If I remove the ram and replace the original the computer boots normal.

Replacing one of the old sticks with a new stick, the computer boots normally and reads as having 6gb ram (2gb old + 4gb new) If I remove the 2gb and install another new 4gb, the computer will not boot and CAPS lock flashes with NUM and SCROLL on steady.

I have tried swapping both sticks out into each position and both will work with an original 2gb stick. I have even disabled quickboot, but that doesn't change anything.

I have a headache from thinking about why they both will not work at the same time.

    Any help is appreciated.

    V/R
