Hello. I'm hoping someone here can help me. My M17X R2 is less than 2 months old but i'm having a problem where the keyboard has a mind of its own when playing games. It was working fine last night when I was playing but when I tried to play this morning, the problem was there. Basically, when inside a game, the character moves in different directions all by himself and I have tested this in L4D2 and BC2. The weird thing is if I open a text document, nothing is typed on the screen. I ran a virus scan with AVG and windows defender but nothing showed up. I am also using a logitech G13 gameboard but the problem is still there even if I unplug it. Does anyone here have any experience with this issue? I really hope it's only a software issue because I don't want to go through the hassle of dealing with dell again to get it replaced. Thanks to anyone who can help!

one or more of the keys' buttons could be stuck. If you feel brave enough, here are some ideas:

    1. Test all keys in notepad. For keys that don't work, try propping off the key. They usually pop off without a problem. Check the rubber underneath it - is it sticking up or pushed in? If pushed in, try to mess with it so it's not pushed in.

    2. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the keyboard. You'll need to practically take apart the entire laptop, so you may want to move to #3.

    3. Contact Alienware tech support and get someone out there with a new keyboard and have them install it.
