Hey there-
I did a complete reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit a few weeks ago (stock), and used the AW disks for resources. I installed the OSD and Command Center. I also have BIOS A05.
Recently I am starting to hear the dreaded rattling sound coming from the case. I can't tell if it is my video card fans or my secondary platter hard drive. My primary is an SSD so that should not be it.
I decided to swap to integrated graphics to see if that would kill the noise off - indicating the graphics fans as the issue.
I am now noticing that my graphics swap button does nothing, and when I boot to the BIOS to activate the integrated GPU, it is not listed there either.
I definitely had and used the I-GPU in my r1, but I did not look for it since I got the r2. Does it come with it and mine is broken, or did this revision not come with it and I am just now noticing?
Aside from that answer, I am thinking I may need to replace my GPU fans. Can they be bought separately? I could not find them on Dell's site under my service tag.
As always, thanks to this community for the great help and support.

If your fan(s) are rattling, contact Dell Support and they will troubleshoot. They can also provide information on replacement fan(s) if you are out of warranty.
