    M17X weird flicker on game menus and lines in game

    is just me or the M17X crossfire HD5870 is flickering when vantage is loading then a little lines during the benchmark also with mafia 2 alot of flicker in the game menus then a little lines show during game

    i have the latest vbios and A09 sytem bios also latest dell video drivers maybe i should re set the crossfire or the cards ?

    Hey there Chiefs,

    I had the exact same thing as you in Vantage. It was tearing like crazy. I was like wow.

    I upgraded to AMD 10.10 mobility drivers and the tearing is gone. all good now oles.
    Give 10.10 a go chiefs and see how you go.

    I haven't tried 10.10 + 10.10 CAP with Mafia 2 but prior drivers did have it. It's been an ongoing Crossfire issue since ATi first created it and it's been getting better with each driver release.

    10.10 + 10.10 CAP is the driver to use. i have far less flickering and tearing, close to non actually compared to the past drivers.

    i install the 10.10 drivers and the flicker goes away on mafia and vantage i need to try more games to make sure is perfect :)
