Does anyone know what the max fanspeeds in the stock fans of the GPU's in an m17x-R2 are?

Was wondering if the speeds which HWinfo64 shows (I believe 7000 RPM) are actually the speeds the fans can do, or just some default setting which is to high for the m17x-r2 fans?

My current settings for the GPU are:

I wondered if I should set the fan speeds higher then they are (been a bit conservative)?

Just default settings. GPU ramp up to 4200ish and CPU around 3800ish. It is prooven that 7000rpm is the speed needed for our laptops to reach escape velocity and go back to the galaxy fronte where they come from :)

Mine gets to about 3950 max for CPU and 4470 for the GPU.

Should have two GPU fans with apx the same speed (the right for my previous crossfire card now just a "dummy" fan), but i f.....ed the fan connector when i had to disconnect them for re-soldering the power socket on the motherboard. It was just too stuck to be removed in one pice :(

    By the way, my settings......
Ive used just a slight increase of 200 when it hits 50 instead for going 500 up.
This since 3000 is noice 2700 is nothing, now it operates between 2500 and 2700 normally and its not much fan noice.

When in game mode i wear headphones and the noice doesnt bother me. Flat out from 60 deg. (4000) even though i have 6000 on 70 and 80.
Your idle temperature could differ from mine. Make it run silent when in normal operation. I could even go lower or fan speed until 65 deg since it will delay normal operation fan, an gaming will fly past 65 deg quite fast.

My GPU fan speed which i see you show i have 2000 until it hits 40 deg when i run to about 3500 and hitting 50 is full actual speed. Need to play games to get there.

I think this depends on how hot your gpu gets, if you use stock system speeds. It will for example only jump to 4500 rpm above a certain degree (say 75), if your card never gets to that amount of degrees then there's no need to go to that rpm.
According to my own info, and what's been said above which kind of confirms this, the max speed for the fans is 4500 rpm.

Must be a design flaw ! same thing happened when Dell's Tech disassembled mine, the GPU's fan connector fell apart, had to wait over a week before he could get a replacement :( Without the fan the GPU would run between 99 and 103 deg C in windows, so I had to keep off any major games for the period :( I couldn't help but give it a little try thought, so I started Skyrim, It went up to 109 deg C in less then 30 sec after I got in the game !

That's right, perhaps you can try changing it with software but I think that the max they'll get with the stock controllers is 4500.
