    M17X10 R2 Performance Issue

    Ok a little heads up on my problem. During game play (any game) every minute or so the game will seem to pause for a second or 2 then continue on. Also during normal game play frame rate is not very stable. Usually runs very smooth then will drop very low (below 15 or so) then jump right back up. I have contacted alien ware support. They sent me a new GPU and adapter. It did not fix the issue. I did a 3dmark06 test for them and it came back with a score of 10583 (which i believe is low). Because its over 10,000 they will not help me saying my laptop is just fine. My old Asus G60VX scores 10000 with a old intel core 2 duo and a GTX 260M. Here are my specs. My question is to you, is my system running as fast as it should be and if not what can I do to fix it. (all drivers have been updated, all firmware and bios have been updated to most recent ones)

    Intel Corei7 740QM
    ATI 5870 HD 1GB DDR5
    640GB SATA2 HD
    6GB DDR3

    Windows Experience Index is 7.3 for both 3D items.

    I bought this computer to replace my Asus g60vx laptop and so far its been no better...
