Not with RAID 0, if you want data recovery, you'll likely need to ship it out to professional level data recovery centers, aka you'll need to take a 2nd mortgage out to pay for data recovery. Narrow down which drive is bad (they are serialized in the RAID menu) and reinstall Windows.

ive accepted the loss of data and i know which one is bad but do i take out the bad one and replace it to still run raid 0 or can i change it to ata or achi to just run off the one and reinstall windows. from my understanding which isnt much at this point is that raid 0 req's 2 hdds and if one of mine doesnt read then i cant run raid 0 unless i replace the bad one. but im also looking for the quick fix atm and prob will replace it down the line but bottom line can i change the bois or the settings in the boot menu to run off the one good one? also on a side note if i cant find the boot/window discs that came with it cause that was almost 2 years ago just short of buying a new windows disc dell cant send me a replacement one or something along those lines can they?

You can keep the RAID 0 array or you can decide to just go single drives. If you want to keep the RAID array, you'll need to replace the drive and recreate your RAID array and reinstall Windows. I used the Alienware Windows 7 disc and I did not need to hunt down the RAID drivers, it saw my RAID volume. If don't want RAID, then go into BIOS and change your SATA operation to AHCI, I found my R2 POSTs VERY slow with IDE mode.

You can use an OEM Windows disc and activate the COA on the bottom of the unit which can be downloaded from Microsoft's website.
