    Sorry if it was just answered but I've not found it. Anyone knows the displayport revision (1.0., 1.1, 1.2) inside M17Xr2 with Ati 4870?

    Someone could please tell me which connection I need to use with latest kind of LCD LED monitor with 120hz like for example Alienware OptX AW2310, samsung 2233rz, Acer GD245HQ, Asus vg236h, LG w2363D.

    My M17XR2 with Ati 4870 has VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort output,
    NO DVI-D.

    If I need DVI-D can I buy an adapter from displayport to DVI-D and have single link or dual link with maximum refresh rate support?
