I tried installing my gtx 780m today into my m17xr4 and am having a problem with the card not being recognized in windows. Currently this is what I have done so far:

    Flashed unlocked a11 bios
Disable IGP and set display to PEG
Tried installing drivers with modded inf (driver signing disabled), but still fails as no compatible hardware is found
    flashed custom vbios from techinferno

What's weird is the bios shows the integrated card as not detected, which is what I want, and discrete graphics1 shows nvidia GFX. So I'm assuming it is being detected in the bios. And I boot up fine into windows but GPUz shows no graphics card whatsoever, device manager does not show any display adapters, msi afterburner does not show anything either but shows GPU usage going up and down from 0 to 100 and back to 0 continuously. When I load up a game the fans come on but get horrible fps, probably due to the erratic gpu usage.

I am on windows 8.1 uefi, but have disabled fast boot and secure boot and also have legacy boot on. Not really sure what else to do as I have tried following these two threads:

Here is what my bios shows:

And here's a snapshot from within windows:

Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Nevermind, got it figured out. Must of been a corrupted driver somewhere preventing windows from recognizing my gpu. Went back to a restore point and all is good.
