When I connect my laptop to any TV (I've tried three), the borders go off the LCD screen... my laptop adjusts to 1920x1080 just fine but the display on the TV loses about half an inch or so all the way around. Does anyone have a fix for this? My X205-S9359 never had this issue. I've tried different drivers, different TVs... its really frustrating to have to adjust VLC so that the screen elements can't be seen on my TV (but can on my laptop) just so I don't lose any of the image...

I must be missing the setting because I can't find such a setting.

    Windows 7:
Right-Click on your desktop > Screen Resolution

    Windows Vista:
Right-Click on your desktop > Personalize > Display Settings

    If that doesn't work, try:
Right-Click > NVIDIA Control Panel > Change Resolution (under Display section)

fixed it... sorta... had to use nvidia's custom scaling... I had to make a resolution for the TV... not the most ideal, particularly if I was going to use it for browsing and such... Apparently all these TVs (an LG, a Panasonic Viera, and a 40" Insignia) don't have the capability of 1920x1080 (yeah right). My resolution has to be set at 1842x1028 to fit properly.....

Your TV doesn't have an option for 1:1 scaling?
First try change the refresh rate. My TV picks up the borders properly on 59Hz, but goes over the boundaries on 60Hz, for instance.
Also, try install some older and original drivers if you have made any changes there.

Thank you!!! I set it to 59Hz and it worked :)

Now I can use both displays... its a pain to queue up anime with my head tilted sideways. You're awesome :D

And yeah, there was no way I was going to downgrade... I like the 256 series.
