    Hello everyone,

So, got this machine 3 months back, up and running Fine. BUT, i got few issues, for which DELL replaced my Laptop's motherboard, I/O Panel for resolving this issue. But the issue is still persisting. Following are the details,

Issue 1: Audio Distortion (Keep Reading)...

So, When ever i play music in Windows Media Player (32Bit) and Pause the Player, and then opened up a Folder or technically speaking, ran an Windows/3rd party Sound.

I get a NOISE at the start of the Sound, had to be precise and careful to catch it.

(Could i get some Volunteers please? for verifying this ? Please download this Sidebar gadget , called Spectrum Analyzer( Download), used as a Audio visualizer, i get that Static noise aka Audio Distortion sound even when i Change Tracks in Windows Media Player[32bit, 64Bit] )

Also noted that, this issue only happens with Windows Media Player, but doesn't when i come out of the game, and i try to execute another sound based Application)

Issue 2: System Freeze (BluRay DVD On-Slot)

System completely freezes when i try to eject it As soon as i insert a Media into it. Like, i insert a drive, and press Eject Key while the Media is being loaded. Could be experienced with a music being played in background for more detailed experience)

At first i thought the Audio issue was from MotherBoard, but i finally doubt on Drivers and for the DVD, I.D.K.

Still Experimenting, could be very useful if i got some volunteers for Tracking this Issue.

    System Specs:
    Intel i7 Core 840QM
    4GB DDR3 RAm
    500GBx2 HDD(non Raid)
    AMD ATI 5870 CrossFireX

    Thank You.

I have issue 2 with my DVD drive. I posted a thread but didnt come up with much help. My best guess is it is a firmware issue with the drive.

No Firmware for HL DT BD ROM Drive. Audio seems to be flickering even after applying hotfixes from the recovery image.

Support says somethings wrong with myself -.-. Sound only distorts with Windows Media player. Confirmed. I don't know about the other users though.
