Here's the 64-bit version (which Gawain will probably want to download too)

...and r3 460M is still not part of verde.
    Anger.

Well I tried these and they work fine other than what the other one(266.58) did as well

    1. when you shut the lid and re open it the screen stays black
    2. when you switch the hdmi input to off the screen stays black

same problems as 266.58, but other than that they work great, havent done any major tested or anything cuz i use hdmi input 24/7 so im going back to 266.08...but it was worth a try, it would be really nice if nvidia starting to add support for the r3

I got it to nstall on my 17x r3 and my 3dmark went up 2k
from the high 12's to the high 14's, while plugged in of course.
I may not have a perfect installation as I used dells inf file to install this driver, but it did improve my 3d mark.

No problems other than those mentioned so far.

This driver requires a modified file to work with the NV 460 GPU in the R3. If you are not familiar with using a modified INF file, I suggest you stick with the Dell driver for the time being. Nothing wrong with it for daily use. Either wait until Dell updates the 17xR3 NV driver (since its a new system, I expect this will happen fairly quickly) or wait for an R3 owner to post a modified INF process for use with this driver and the R3.

If you want to read more on modified INFs/NV drivers, take a look at the FAQ posted here - its a bit dated but explains what a modified INF is:

I'm getting the old "video driver stopped responding" with the PCIE gen 2 off. Weird.
I just turned it back on and no problem so far.

It was the left one, oddly enough last time I installed Windows 7 it decided that the main GPU is the right one. I guess it gets bored now and then and makes a change :D

After a bit of voodoo, it seems to be working normal now (normal for me means 4-5C difference, even in idle mode). The voodoo consists of:

Usually I keep my integrated graphics off, but these days I'm traveling and have to work on it as well. When I'm working, I switch to integrated graphics because it's very silent.

When I 1st installed the drivers, all 3 gpu's were on, and I got the result from earlier (also was idling at around 65C ??). So I went and disabled hybrid graphics in bios and reinstalled. Boom, it's working now :D

I even re-enabled hybrid now and it stays the same. All installations were done clean (uninstall + safe mode cleaning etc.).
