The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I hope this helps those of you that are having problems with this inf and installing the drivers.
    I tried both inf's in this thread, and neither one worked. I got both errors everyone else is getting... I finally deleted the nvidia folder, re-extracted it from the download... then used laptopvideo2go's modded nvwi.inf
    and everything worked perfectly...
    So... those of you that are having problems.. you are replacing the wrong inf to make the drivers install, go here and find what you need..

    yeah killed my skyrim as well. Do we have a work-around besides rollingback?

    here's a modded inf for the r1 users with gtx260's , the ones posted in this thread didn't work so I went ahead and modded it myself so far it installed ok and it's working fine , I haven't tested it in games yet because I have college now :( but the drivers installed correctly.

    btw the work with the new drivers released this morning ( 295.73 )
