Hi guys. Tried to install the new ubuntu, without success. I got to the install screen and selected the install partition, however, it gets to a stage during the install and the screen goes blank. I can hear sounds as i select options using the arrow keys, however I can't see what i'm selecting. Any hints/tips to get this fixed?
Btw, my system has 280M sli, i turned there both on for the install. I also tried installing with just the 9800M. I was using 197.15 beta drivers at the time.

I had the same issue when trying to install from a CD/DVD. Instead, make a bootable USB installation stick (there are plenty of tutorials how to do it) and it should be fine.
    Good Luck.
