Why does my 120hz lcd tv look better then my 120hz led m17x screen? The laptop screen looks like 60hz with motion blur and i have it set to 120hz.

Your TV probably has some post processing function for motion interpolation.

Also, what are you looking at on your laptop screen that you are saying "looks like 60hz with motion blur"?

It is the same as a TV. Like namaiki stated, your TV has some sort of post processing the smoothens out 24hz videos. Most people don't actually like that feature which is kind of funny. Switch the screen to 60hz and move the cursor slowly, then switch it to 120hz and move the cursor at the same speed. You will notice the cursor moves MUCH smoother than it did in the first test.

I wish we could see some decently priced 240hz screens :)
