    hello all,

    I am opting to look into OC my stock 680M in my M17x instead of getting a 780M or 880M. I am a total newbie with OC so I am seeking assistance on here.

    Most of the links I searched in google are dated 2012, can one of you more experienced guys on here with OC point me in the right direction on the follow:

    - what's the easiest and safest utilities / apps to use
    - download v-bios
    - youtube video tutorials

    or any other helpful info you guys can provide.

    - EVGA Precision X - probably the best, user friendly software there is. MSI afterburner is similar, but I prefer EVGA utility simply because it looks better on 1080p resolution.
    - vbios can be obtained from techinferno forum, but you will have to have at least 5 useful posts there to download OC edition vbios.

    I personally use MSIAfterburner for this. We don't recommend to overclock your GPU. But in case you do just make sure you monitor the temperatures at all times.
