    I can help with that.

Watching the video for a couple seconds it looks like the colors are fading from each area to the next correct? Well, I did that, and its fairly simple. Just a matter of making each zone fade from the color it starts out as into the next color, and then making that color fade into the next, and so on. You start out with your first zone (lets say it would go Red, Blue, Green, Yellow) which starts as Red, and then make it fade out into Blue, which then fades into Green, and so on.

Then you do the same for the other zones just starting with the next color in the line. In my example, the second zone is Blue, so you start out with blue, and it fades out into Green, and so on.

    I've attached mine.

Nice theme buddy, that was the first one I actually got to work on my M17X- R3. I was searching all over these damn threads for some cool ideas and it seems like all of the themes are set up for R2's. Have any other good ones for the R3?

I've been messing around a lot with the Alien FX trying to make a really seamless color transition, with little luck. I want a theme that will, for example, Start Red on the left while the rest of the keyboard is black. Then have the next section go red while the first fades to black, then Red on the third section while the second fades to black and so on, I think you get the point. The problem I'm having is getting it to go across all four sections in sequence and keep it in rhythm. If you could give me a simple baseline to make that work, that would be sweet and appreciated.

BTW, anybody have anything specific they are looking for? I have built some pretty cool themes, but I don't know if they would be worth posting or not. So if anyone has some ideas just let me know.

You will have to add alot of black before starting and ending with red.

    Ex.:

    1. BLACK | BLACK | BLACK/RED | RED/BLACK | BLACK | BLACK | BLACK/RED | RED/BLACK |
    2. BLACK/RED | RED/BLACK | BLACK | BLACK | BLACK/RED | RED/BLACK | BLACK | BLACK

and so on. Use 'long break' between the changes...

I've made another multicolour one, or like some call it rainbow. I will post it later...

Unfortunately I was my leave has come to an end and I started working again... When I get sometime free, I will try the 'police siren' as well. But is not difficult to make it if you follow my rainbow one. Just use red, blue and black (you can edit the the same theme)...

    Hey all,

I made a cool white wave throughout the keyboard from left to right with blue as the offset. This was made on the latest M17x r3 so it should work for ya'll. Please let me know if you have problems.

Hey guys im new here, i already downloaded a few themes from here and they all are great! So i felt like uploading mine since i haven't seen one like this yet (maybe because i haven't read all posts). Not to be egocentric but i have seen a lot of modded themes and fancy ones but i my favorite is my lava theme.

The zip files appear to be corrupt at first if you use windows to extract but I had no issues extracting the themes with 7-zip.

I just found this thread and installed the Lava theme, its fantastic!

I downloaded all the themes in this thread (thanks to those who produced them ;) ).

Some did not work on my M17X R4 so whittled them down to the ones that did run and I've attached them to this post. I can confirm these are running fine on Control Center v2.7.28.0.

I'll throw a couple of questions into the mix since this has been necro'd.

Was there a tool created at some stage that allowed you to choose custom colours for themes?

Also, when I'd originally received my R2 the default green theme on there was slightly different to what was available in AlienFX (I hope someone else knows what I'm talking about) and when I formatted for a clean install I realised I'd neglected to back it up. Would love to be able to get it back from someone else or have greater flexibility in theme colours.
