Just a curious question. I currently have an M15x thats going to be going back. The M15x comes with 2 battery options a 6 Cell and a 9 Cell. The 9 Cell protrudes downwards creating a slope for the system.

When configuring a new M17x your not given the option for batteries (in canada). Also I've noticed that unlike the M15x the battery compartment is under the front of the laptop (give or take) rather than in the rear between the exhaust vents.

So, are there any other options for higher capacity batteries or is the single battery option a 9 Cell that fits flush under the laptop (which i prefer btw).

All m17x' come with 9 Cell batteries, 9 Cell is the best you can get for m17x, all they sell are back up batteries on the website.
