That's what I was thinking of the processor. Joker has the same system as me except the processor. That must be the difference in scores.

There are no overclocks in the bios either. Only turbo boost is enabled. Maybe that makes a difference as well.

I'm starting to get confused here, why are anything other than GPU scores being compared?

LE25 has a point, screw these scores. All big scores show is how big your E-pen is. Let's see how these babies run games... now.

Ok here's my latest run, no real tweaks. Just the system with stock drivers and a clean windows install:

That looks better. GPU score is 25% or so over 4870's. Seems to match the 4870 clock for clock, plus you get DX11 support. I'm sure there will still be speed gains with driver updates as well.

Has anyone tried OCing them yet? If so, what kind of results are you guys getting?

    edit: quoted wrong person

    An i820 CPU.

Okay I've gone ahead and made a bunch of bios files for those of you that want to OC using bios flash. It should save everyone time. Here's the breakdown of how the naming scheme works:

ex. 8001000a.rom/8001000b.rom = correspond to those clocks for card 1 (a) and card 2 (b).

ex. 9001000a11.rom/9001000a11.rom = correspond to those clocks for card 1 running at 1.1v (a11) and card 2 at 1.1v (b11).

Ok, here are some late night results for me.
I ran 3DMark Vantage with all stock drivers and stock settings. Also, this is with 5% oc-ed cpu from the bios. Too bad I received the system today with few dead pixels and had to order a replacement.

Looks like the 5% OC helps the scores a bit.

Now that's what the score should look like....not to mention that's how scores here should be posted.

Who will be the first to get 22K 3DMark06?

RAM has no impact on the score. Probably due to the fact that one program was 3DMark Vantage, and the other 3DMark06.

    5150Joker,

on your previous screenshot, I assume you kept the thermal monitoring open during the benchmark. Either the program has the trouble reading out CF temps+utilization or it implies 1 card didn't work at all. (It shows ~0% utilization.)

Crysis? Need a game from at least this year. Metro 2033 DX11 would be a better benchmark.

Ok, I will do that when I get home from work on Crysis. Is the other game available on Steam? Also, what do I do in the game when fraps is running? Just run around and shoot stuff to see what my fps is? Sorry for the dumb questions.

For Crysis, you can download the Crysis Benchmark tool. Check the first page of the benchmarking thread, should have a link to it.

For Metro 2033 I just want to know if it's playable. I played it with high settings and DX11 and it was choppy. I wanted to know if the dual cards can handle it.
