I recently got a external display Dell ST2320L for my M17x. However, there are two problems.

    1) Faint horizontal bars moving up and down. After some research, it seems to be some kind of grounding problem? My laptops power is connected to the same outlet of my monitor. Unplugging the laptops power did fix it. Connecting the laptops power to another outlet (in the same room) only helped for 5mins and the problem comes back.

    2) External display on integrated graphics? The M17x has two modes, Integrated graphics (GeForce 9400) and Hybrid SLI (GeForce GTX260M). Is it possible to use the external display on integrated graphics? Because I plug the monitor in and it doesnt work but it works right away when I turn on Hybrid SLI thro the BIOS.

    Thanks.
