    M17x GPU keeps making a buzzing sound, help

    Idling at 59 degrees, I've tried cleaning the fan and heatsink, did no good.

    Wow, by the time I was done typing this, it's idling at 66 now

    It's getting worse everyday holy .

    I bought this last year in July, will dell exchange me it for the same one but a working one? Or is there a way to call a dell tech. to come to my home and look at the problem?

    Sounds like the fan is unbalanced to me... Check and make sure the blades are all clean and clear and that there is nothing rubbing against the top or bottom of the fan.

    I just got off the phone w/ dell

    they are sending a replacement fan and gpu this week with a technician to come over :)

    I was going to say that it sounded like the fan was failing and not spinning up fast enough to keep your GPU cool. Watch the tech like a hawk, make sure he/she doesn't break anything.
