Hey Everyone,
i'm kinda curious on what games you are going to buy and play for Fall and Winter 2010 this year and play on your M17x or M17x-R2?
My Top3 are:
Final Fantasy XIV
Fallout: New Vegas
Medal of Honor Tier 1
What are you excited for? Not that i'm gonna miss something good i'm not aware of...![]()
I hope i can play those games well when they get released... I'm going to upgrade to an 940-xm and a SSD i guess in a while... if those games won't work on this machine just fine, i'm gonna play GT5 on my PS3![]()
Cheers![]()

nice choices mate, i don't think you will have any worries at all running the games you listed on your machine, im guessing it will chew them up nicely
ill be picking up
Civ V (pre-ordered)
MoH tier 1 (pre-ordered)
Black-ops
and fallout New Vegas -
I'm on the FFXIV band wagon also. Also waiting on the Cataclysm expansion pack for WoW. Maybe DAO2, tho I havent heard exactly when that is coming out.
-
I'm watting for NFS Hot Pursuit but I don't know it could work on AMD brand graphic card like NFS shift and another is Black-Op
-
Black-Ops and Medal of Honor . . .
-
I'm looking forward to those games mentioned above.
Also to any co op game as well.
Other games I'm looking forward to are:
FIFA 11
FEAR 3
Crysis 2 (although postponed to next year now)
Black Ops
Need for Speed Hot pursuit
Lost planet 2
Hmmsss what else.................. -
Need for speed hot pursuit
Black Ops
Fallout New Vegas
Rage - though I think that's next year
Crysis 2
Fear 3
Knight's Contract -- no release date yet
Something I wish would come out but no news at all... Elder Scrolls V
Plenty more I'm forgeting but will remember as the Ads start rolling in. -
I was really hoping for a new version of Solitaire. Really need something to put these "All Powerful" Laptops to the test. haha
but kinda excited for black ops. Seems like it'll be alright. -
Nice suggestions everyone, i think i'll give FIFA11 and Black Ops a chance aswell
-
Civilization V
Borderlands GotY Edition
Diablo III
Crysis 2
Plus some older games I need to buy:
BF:BC2
CoD:MW2
Any others that are played at local LAN gaming tournaments... -
Diablo III - Sigh... How long does one need to wait...
-
I'm busy going through all the old games now that i can actually play them, currently playing Crysis & Age of Conan
-
Sure, for next year i think everyone is waiting for Diablo3. I think i also get Deus Ex in march and Front Mission Evolved if it hits PC aswell
-
Digital1337 Notebook Evangelist
Heck, Im still trying to get through both campaigns of ARMA 2 -
I guess I will be the only one playing WoW Cataclysm then.
And some SC2 thrown in for good measure.
I tend to get obsessive about one or two games for a few years rather than bounce around trying every new title under the sun. -
That's what FFXIV has to do for me the next 2 years atleast, hope i don't get too obsessed, also i'm sure GT5 on PS3 will keep me busy aswell, and then i wish i still have some more time to enjoy some quick single player campaign games, for some story telling -
I was excited about Black Ops, but then EA has done the same thing as the COD last release and backed away from private servers, and only a 9 Vs 9 MP
-
-
Call of Duty: Black Ops - Coming 11.09.10
They reveresed an earlier statement on the player limit
but they did say 9 vs 9 earlier
Gameservers.com is hte only server provider, but no Pulic server files
so we'll see, seems the out cry from PC gamers in early Sept got someones attention -
-
I hope someone is going to test FFXIV with the new drivers and give some feedback on it

-
-

-
FIFA11,two-world2,crysis2,dao2

-
Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 3 wont be released in 2010, also no release date about wow catacalysm yet,
-
(somewhere this time around, in a year)
-
Wolfenstein played very nicely. Too bad it wasn't longer.

Yeh both demos are out. they came out last week on the 16th. I've played both and their pretty awesome. I enjoy FIFA more. PES overall has been rubbish over the last few years. This years one looks to be much better however they still lack the official licenses and stuff. Both are pretty awesome though.
However they seem to lack proper ATi crossfire support still. So I either have to disable Crossfire or disable Catalyst AI completely to run the game properly. Both games run better on my R1 with GTX 260 SLi. Both runninig maxed out settings; Over 100fps in FIFA and PES is capped at 63fps. So I'm waiting patiently for AMD to get its act together lol. Hopefully a new driver before or just after the full games officially release.
The full release for FIFA is end of the month and PES is Oct 8th.
Demo links below for both:
Where to get the demo on X360, PS3 and PC. | EA SPORTS Football
PES2011 | PRO EVOLUTION SOCCER
Cheers. -
Thanks alot reborn, also for the links, i didn't had the time to get after them so far... Ah well, i should take more time for me once in a while and not spam this forum to death with my oppinions and assumptations
Yeah and they are still Demo's, i don't know if ATI works on ALL the demos for ALL the individual games that come out. Well it's good if they are atleast playable at maybe 60fps at best, but more would be welcome for sure, but you cannot expect from ATI, that they improve games that are clearly optimized by developers for Nvidia Cards and Nvidia Physx, and i'm sure ball games profit a lot from the latter and it relieves the real gpu cores a little.
Will try those demos and see if one of them appeals to me, licenses are not that important to me, if they are more or less accurate, i don't know all the real players neither that much
-
No worries. Yeh I noticed that Nvidia's support for game is much greater. I sure hope ATi can improve in the near future. Nvidia's latest release has added support for FIFA and PES so I guess thats why they run much better there. I'm guessing ATi's 10.9 that is getting skipped this month would also have had the support for the new games so no biggy, will just wait till 10.10. I just disable AI for now and it still runs great. PES has a fps cap though of 63fps. FIFA used to have a 60fps cap as well however it seems in this version the cap has been removed.
My mates and I always have great fun playing FIFA and PES. Its a great multiplayer game. Always good for a little fun. We are big sports fans though ehehehe. Love our sports and especially Soccer.
Hows the FFXIV going Grim? My mate gave me a call the other day saying they had trouble installing the game. They had just purchased it for $109 or something but couldn't even install it. They were running on a Windows 7 64bit Proffesional system with 8gb ram 9800 GTX/GTX+ GPU however when they tried to install the game it kept saying that they needed Vista SP2 or something before they could install it. Odd problem i thought. Any ideas?
I told him to try a few things but nothing worked. In the end I think they have to reformat and reinstall the OS fresh I guess.
I too haven't had much time for games atm. However I am awaiting the next Co-op games. I love co-op games
If only they made Gears of war 2 and 3 for PC as well.
Next major co-op game I'm awaiting is FEAR 3.
Keep up the good work. Always great to read your posts and learn new things.
Cheers. -
I'm not going to play it at the moment, as there are still the same issues as in Open beta, so i wait for Standard edition anyway, and see how things go for others, i'm currently looking into it and research alot. I just don't want to start the game with an unsatisfied experience, even if i could bare the small issues, like in beta, but better IS better
Also FFXIV is dependent on the LATEST drivers you can possibly get from what i learned during beta, and also heard it from NVIDIA site, maybe the 9800 is not even supported anymore, can't say. Also i'm not familiar to Vista that much and if it's an OS releated problem.
Yeah GOW would be cool to play, i have a xbox360, though that game i would also like to play in co-op only, xbox live is not worth my money at all, if i can play more or less all the good games either on PS3 or now on my new M17x-R2 if applicable, i should probably sell the xbox, there is no real value to me anymore.
Is FEAR3 playable in third person perspective? -
Hi all,
There is this website ,i sometimes check out what games are coming out
or past games for consoles and PC games.
http://games.gamepressure.com/games_encyclopedia.asp?PLATFORM=PC
Just wondering if it any good for anybody,
for me ,i like it
CHEERS, -
Yeh thats the funny thing on my mates comp. He is running windows 7 Professional but it comes up with a missing Vista SP2 error when trying to install the game. The problem is that he can't even install the game. So not to sure whats going on there. All drivers were up to date so not to sure. All i can see is probably some sort of OS corruption or something. He managed to install it fine on another mates PC. Same specs. I think a reformat should fix it though.
Heres a list of Future games as well.
PC Game List - System Requirements and System Specs
Hmmsss i've just finished BC2 hmmm what to try out next.
Cheers. -
nice site, i'm gonna have a look through it now.
Cheers.
