    I picked up a ir sensor for a little integration into another alienware computer.

    But, I am wondering about the wiring on this thing, I assume its just a standard 4 pin USB, would I be right with that assumption?

    Does anyone happen to know what pins would go to what?
    Maybe if you have a picture of the wires that go to it, I could figure it out with the color codes on the wires.

    So while searching online I found somethings that may be related.

    from what I can tell, the ir board uses
    1 Orange 2 red 3 brown 4 black

    Searching some of dells usb pinouts gives me
    orange D+
    red D-
    brown +
    black -
    Or in normal USB speak

    Brown = red
    Orange = white
    Red = green
    Black = Black
