    Hey guys,

I know the USA has loads of availability when it comes to notebook coolers, but what are our option here in Australia.. the options *worthy* getting!

Price range doesn't matter, I'm just curious about those who have done their research locally, or maybe ordered from eBay, as to what we have in terms of availability.

I would also consider the notepal u3 from coolermaster when it arrives at retailers.

I ended up getting the Logitech Lapdesk N700 so I can use my m17x comfortably while sitting on the couch.

It's sold from OfficeWorks 'exclusively' for about AUD$130 but you can find them slightly cheaper on StaticIce. (Also remember that OW will price match (total including shipping if applicable) and beat by 5%).

For a cooler that sat on a desk but was ok to use on my lap I used to have a Coolermaster Notepal Infinite to cool my XPSm1710. (It may have been an eBay purchase). It was decent enough but there are better options out there now so I wouldn't recommend this.

StaticIce may also be useful to search/compare prices for AU suppliers when you know what you want.

I really cant recommend PCCasegear myself.

I havent had an order that DIDNT have something wrong/incorrect/faulty with it. At least for the last 6-8 orders I made.

In the end, when they screwed up the last order I made I told them I would promise never to buy from them again so long as they would just please send the actual part that I ordered (for some reason they though I wouldnt notice that instead of sending 2xPART like I ordered, they would send 1XPART and 1XCOMPLETELYOTHERPART but keep the original order as the invoice?)

I got the part in the mail a couple of days later, no email or nothing, and they deleted my customer account.

    Totally pathetic, TBH.

Cool, I'll be having a look at all of those when I have the time. As for the officeworks idea.. thats smarter as warranty is safer from a bigger company!

NZXT Cryo is perfect for M17x.

Just replace the fans, with better fans, stronger airflow.

It'd be great if you guys could share some temps with the coolers you're using, a screenshot with hwmonitor or something on normal/full load etc.

    Thanks orange, thats a crylo?

Yea like I've said, pictures are fantastic, but giving me screenshots with temps on really go a long way.
