    anyone play it yet?
just tested out the first hour and i think its going to be amazing, but i have a serious issue with the graphic fidelity:
    1. you cannot adjust your graphics settings from the start screen. you have to watch the intro at lowest res, no aa, and no dynamic shadows.(no dynamic lighting?)
*****important note. you can adjust it from the start menu under the extras heading. i highly recommend you do this*******

    2. when you do finally watch the 20 min intro and turn the graphics up you only get a handfull of option. resolution, brightness(its way to bright), aa, and dynamic shadows. then you crank it go back into game and everything is muddy untextured and kinda gross. is this a symptom of a really low quality port? seriously it looks terrible, except when you hit the right distance away from objects, but up close makes me a sad panda.

will there be better graphics settings on release? waiting a year for a high res pack to come out might be the only way i would get this game. which is disturbing that i have to pay $60 for game and wait for a modder to put a ton of hard work into making it the beautiful space opera it should be.

i think the best way to describe my dissapointment would be buying a new game for your ps3, thinking it should look just astounding(like uncharted 2 imho) and having it end up like tomb raider for a ps2.

    anyways thats my rant

Just finished my play-through of the demo was and it was pretty fun. I read somewhere that this is an early build with low res textures. I heard it should be much better at launch. I hope we get more graphics options though. ;)

Just got off the conversation with the council. Rocking 60FPS all the way. The game is still very easy on the hardware as usual.

Facial animations of important characters are super crisp as well as some bit of armor part. Other minor NPCs look like mannequin as usual. Did not expected much really.

But God does Ashlee look bad. She looks even worse then the leaked stuff a while back.

Please please Bioware release a high def texture pack at release, I dont usually complain about that stuff but wow, cannot tolerate that :(.

It'll be better at release. It would be the biggest letdown of 2012 if they released this game with 480x240 resolution textures.

there is some super texture packs floating around for mass effect 2. They make the armor on all the characters look a lot better, but it takes like 10 mins to load up the game. :(

I don't see the need for high resolution for most single display users. I'd imagine people with 3x3 or more setups would need them however.

I LOVE THE GAME OMG. It's amazing. Face textures are so real, however the clothing/armour/surroundings need some work. I'm sure it will be sexual in the final version.

It's great how it runs at 60FPS and max GPU load is 83%

Just FYI everyone, you can pre-order this on Origin and get Battlefield 3 for free. An amazing deal, especially if you just got a nice gaming PC and did not have BF3 already.

    US only.

Jesus Christ why do companies always favour the Americans? God they get it so good, hope they realise that. Their average wages are higher, yet everything is cheaper and they get all these special offers all the freakin' time when R.O.W. is left out in the cold. Not to mention game releases are almost always released in US first. We accross the pond have to wait 3 whole days more for ME3 for no real reason at all (why should a digital product be tied to regions?). I am green eyes. Yeesh. Please note I am not ant-American, you guys are awesome but please appreciate your preferential treatment by businesses.

maybe to save money they use the cheap 3 day fed-ex to send a disk over to europe to upload on their servers.
