    M17x R-2 Bios A05 to A06 Update

    I downloaded the update from Dell Support Page .

    Its stuck at Programming 32 of 70.

    I've been waiting for about an hour now and its still stuck there.

    Any suggestions on what i should do now ?

    I guess you could pray that it doesn't brick your motherboard at this point. Do a hard reset and see what happens.

    ok im going for it :(

    EDIT 1 :- Holding the power button does nothing :( ?

    Should i pull out the power cord ?


    Edit 2 :- Turned off power , Its on battery at the moment , the exhausts are running @ max speeds , is removing the battery advisable ?

    Edit 3 :- nvm removed battery n drained. This time the update went on smooth. :) fixed

    Personally, before doing ANYTHING with it, if it were me in your shoes, id be phoning tech support and asking for their advice, if you do whatever on your own...you may void any warranty you have on it????????

    Im sure they could tell you what to do to avoid more heartache eh?
